These are the first spy shots of the 2015 Subaru Outback in real world testing.
Subaru has begun to significantly expand their model range .The Japanese automaker has begun testing both the new Legacy sedan, and here what appears to be the all-new 2015 Subaru Outback.
The new Outback, is expected to make its official debut at either t the 2014 Detroit Auto Show or the New York Auto Show that follows it as a 2015 model.
Like 2014 Forester , the 2015 Outback will be be larger and more spacious than its predecessor. From what you can make out in these photos the 2015 Outback will loose some of it’s boxiness and incorporate a sleeker front profile. This change could be for both aesthetic and fuel saving purposes.
The base engine should be an improved version of the 2.5-liter 4 cylinder. However, following the industry trend, the 2015 Outback will likely switch to a new turbo charged 2.0-liter for its premium engine choice. This is of course is for fuel economy savings which is becoming a bigger factor in car buying decisions.
